Here is my coop. Built from scrap wood by my dad and I.

Before. I had big chicks in there that didn't need a heat lamp.

After. Now I have a broody hen in it.

Next spring I'll probably have a breeding pair in there.

Wow! Those are some pretty coops!!!! Here is mine (very lame compared to all of y'alls

Sorry I don't have pictures of the inside yet but that was the coop and run

My little tractor coop is 4 x 4 with attached 1 x 4 nesting boxes. The nesting box roof and one side of the main roof open for access; there is just room for a 4' roost with 18" headroom above and below it. The run is 8 x 8 with an additional 4 x 5 "basement" under the coop and the run is detachable for tractoring. To move the coop, we screw two long 2 x 4's to the legs and my husband and I each take one...it's fully insulated and sheeted on the inside, and it's really heavy. Four chickens fit in it just perfectly...unfortunately, now I want more chickens (imagine that!), so eventually this will become my brooder/grow out coop when we get a bigger one built. These pictures were from the very first day we got it set up. Sorry, no inside pics yet. I want a window installed this fall, maybe I'll get some then.
