Let's compare our free rare chicks

So, I am trying to identify which of my 39 chicks is my free rare one from Murray McMurray Hatchery. I specifically ordered only of them. The rest were an unknown assortment, or extras, or my rare one. So I don't know yet who may be the rare one since some are breed unknown as yet.

Do you have pictures of yours. Please share. I would love to see them.

I just got my order today....

I think my free rare one must be a little dark brown one....or something.... lol

I can pretty much tell what I think everybody else is supposed to be....though I am not so sure what's a speckled sussex and what's an EE, they both have the chipmunk stripe deal going on.... I haven't had a lot of time to examine them yet though, just got them from the PO this morning, took them home and got them settled in, and came to work.

They also put an extra RIR pullet and partridge cochin roo in the order.

The leg color should help your easily determine what are your sussex and what are you EEs.

He was actually in mid flap trying to take off across the brooder. Poor guy was so heavy and dumpy, but the was always trying to take to the skies.
