Let's make a difference! I need YOUR help! (Contest details and discussion)

You could (if you like) ask the other bloggers here on BYC if they would also post your contest on their blogs. It helps everyone get more traffic to cross post on each others blogs....
Here's a cross post, this is by chickwhispers on Alaskans blog ( both awesome BYC members who blog )

Here's the competition! Certain things may be added/removed as the contest progresses. I'm not sure how I'm going to judge them yet, but that can be thought out as the contest progresses.
Question

what if it's a project done last fall, is that eligible? I have been doing these for a couple years and now have three. I plan to do another this year but the weather is not going to be good enough for a couple months this far north (we don't even have dirt yet!) here yet to work with the material(s) I need to use.

BTW-this is my kind of thread

I've been "repurposing" since long before they came up with a fancy name for it. I love antiques and would never dream of destroying one to build something else BUT I use "antiques " every day, giving them new life while respecting their past. That said, I have no problem grabbing something from a dumpster and giving it a new job (and maybe a new coat of paint). Examples; my kitchen canisters are all half gallon pre-1900 to 1915 antique canning jars. My spice canisters, yep, old half pint fruit jars. My wonderful chicken coop is a "rebuilt" deer hunting blind/shack that was originally a re-purposed ice fishing shanty!

Absolutely!! I am giving three weeks for anyone who wants to start a new project, but any project that you have done is eligible!
