Let's Pitch in and Help Writer of Words

Thank you so much!! It was so wonderful of you to start this thread, it will mean so much to them! I don't think the date will matter that much, they will be able to add as they go. I'm going on Friday with the donations from my class and I will talk to them and tell them what we are doing on here for them. I was thinking that it would be easy to make a wall hanging by putting on a dowel rod of sorts and then on hooks in the wall, then when one gets filled up they can put another next to it. I made a square from the original pattern last night, my first real quilt block!! It's kind of crooked but I'll work on that today. I love the suggestions of having hearts and other shapes in the middle to sign. Maybe we can all just do the same size block and use whatever pattern you want to as long as it has the place in the middle for the child to put their name.. what do you think?

Wellllllll..I didn't mean to make this stressful!!!...after talking with Acre..scratch all my post above..this will be simple.since all the problems have been eliminated..I think.

Sorry Ginger..you just did so well on the after Christmas block............I'm having lots of stress today too..on a rollercoaster ride lately..i.e..selling our place here and facing a possible very fast move to Florida..I hate packing..the not knowing for sure is killling me!!.....but I do luv ya!!

I just went and looked in my scrap bins and found 45 squares already cut out at 3 1/2" . I cut a a stack of 1x2 out of a scrap of white (I think I cut way to many)
now all I have to do is stitch them on.
