Got a few teenagers I'm trying to nail down whether they are pullet or roos. I already have my suspicions/guesses but want other opinions from those better at this. The first three are 9 week old orpingtons.
1st bird, Hershey:

Bird three
I'm pretty certain its a cockerel.

Bird four: It is a 12 week old BSL wyandotte:

1. Iffy, largish comb, yes it's straight, but rose combed wyandottes pink early and can pop straight combs sometimes. Dunno if they pick early like the rose combs do. As a straight comb, it's no where near as pink as I would expect on a cockerel and there's no sign of wattles. I have to say this one is still on the watch list, but not willing to commit to cockerel yet.

2. Ancona pullet

3. Ancona cockerel

4 SLW pullet.

Hershey #1 is a chocolate silver laced orpington not a wyandotte; iffy but behavior tells me its gonna be a roo
#2 is a black mottled orpington
#3 is a black mottled orpington cockerel
#4 is a silver Laced wyandotte probably pullet.

Chocolate silver laced orpington? Ooooooh! Now I'm really curious to see how s/he turns out!

Hershey isn't very cooperative for clean pics, but oooh, pretty... Dice and Domino have turned out beautiful. Expect the mottling to shift as they moult each year.

Sorry, yes, I know. Hershey is always running!!:wee I am hoping his neck feathers will be predominantly white. He is nicely rounded and will be beautiful. I Keep listening for him to crow, but nothing yet.

Hershey clearly does not like getting pictures taken, unfortunately for us because we need less blurry ones to sex them. Whenever I am trying to take a picture of a chicken that is on the move, I make a weird sound that causes the chicken to stop moving and look. I make a "Ssssss" noise but you can do whatever.

Yep, Dice is a cockerel, as you stated. His crowing is not the only indicator-his comb and wattles are very large and red, and his legs are very thick.
