Pic 2 looks like a white leghorn...
pic 3 looks like a rhode island red or production red

The first is Americauna. The last could possibly be Black Australop. Don't no about the one in the middle, maybe golden comet?

The first one is a Brown Leghorn... a very pretty breed

Not sure about the others, the first one (if it is a bantam) is a black breasted breasted red OEG. I have 3, with one colored like that. don't believe it is an EE, no muff, no green legs. very sweet!

I guess that would actually be considered #2

I agree with rachiegirl on #1. If it's a bantam it's probably an oegb (black-breasted red).

I can tell you that all except 1 are females...

The black 1 we are not sure of yet...but other are girls...does that help?

And I thought that asking for people to name them would help me but I am more confused then ever now!!...LOL...

I will tell you what I was told...

#1 & #2 are same chick and was told Light Brahma

#3 & #4 are same chick and was told Golden Laced Wyandotte

#5 & #6 are same chick and was told Rhode Island Red

#7 & #8 are same chick and I have no idea...

Are there different names for the same Breed? Is that why I am getting confused?..

chicks down colors tells you about color they are going to be.
but breed is harder to tell.

Chick #1 looks like it will be a wild color like brown leghorn, welsummer, Easter egger

Chick#2 looks to be buff color, I guess Buff orp

Chick#3 looks to be a red color, I guess rhode island red

Chick#4 Is going to be black, I guess black australorp or black sexlink female.
