Looking to reduce waste for my ducklings, any ideas?

Most of the mess comes from them grapping bill fulls of it, spilling it and shaking their head, or spilling the bowl over

The easiest way i keep them from wasting too much of it is to use a dish big enough that most of them can eat out of at the same time and to mount it to something heavey

Iam using a plastic bowl screwed down a peice of wood right now, just enough to weigh it down and make it stable
