Let's see your PHOENIX CHICKENS! :D

If gold he is a VERY light one, though he does have the red wings. My golds are much darker, but I have seen light ones like that. on a gold silver cross, they'll come out one or the other, shouldnt be a mix of the two. They'll either show the gold gene or the silver.

Yeah, I saw in one of my magazines someone had a picture of their Phoenix and it was like mine(very light with redish wings except the read was much lighter on theirs) and it said he was a golden just the only thing that showed he wasn't a Silver was the reddish color. I was just wondering. I really like the darker ones much more but I got mine for free, haha. If I do get more I do really want golden ones. (but darker haha).

yep, that's whats pulling me away from saying silver too. I love the mottleing in the breast too. I HAVE seen that in some silvers before, but then never in a golden, so not sure.

The breast did look brown ish in that first Pic didnt it onagadori? But I couldnt tell too well for sure either from the angle.

I have seen them with the brown mottling on the chest with the white on golden duckwings before. I actually think it is very pretty, though that varries according to the quality of each one.

Yeah, but just small bits. You can kind of see it in these pictures. The first picture looked brown because of the heat lamp though. The red from the heat lamp must have really brought out the brown. XD

Sorry, they are sort of blurry. He doesn't like being held or messed with. (We got him at 4 months and the only human interaction was when they came into to feed him.)

Aubrey or Clint, heres a new pic of my 10+ month old white roo. Couldnt get a very good pic of tail length, but we held him and measured the 2 longest streamers (tail feathers) and he has a 3 ft 8in tail. If you look close you can see it curles back under him in pics. Please critique and let me know what you think. He's a bantam, of course. I tried to get him to sit on his perch, but he only wanted to sit on my shoulder...which made it hard to take a pic one handed...

And here I thought I was the only person who named chickens after videogame and anime characters.
