I purchased 15+2 extra free Silver Phoenix straight run from efowl and ended up with 9 roos and 8 hens born may 16 will i have to get rid of my roos so they wont fight all is well so far?

Oh wow! I think I've finally figured out what my rescue rooster is! It appears he is a bantam silver Phoenix! His tail is not nearly as impressive as all your chooks tails and he is probably 5 years old so oh well!

Well, I don't think he is a phoenix at all.. He looks like a mix and he is not silver but silver spangled (actually kind of looks golden in the pic) Very pretty rooster at any rate!

What's going wrong. I treat mine just like normal chicks. The whites can be less hardy than the others, but not impossible to raise...??

They were fine up until 2weeks. Then started looking sleepy and not as hungry as the other chicks. They hatched the same time as the lavender Pekins. The Pekins are doing great and the Phoenix look like there waiting to die. I don't know what is going wrong, they just seem weak. If I get there tomorrow and their all dead I won't be surprised. There eyes are clear, there breathing is fine, there vents are clean. I don't see any sign of disease.
