I have so many to share with you all, I will get each one down and get a proper photo, I always have been made fun of because of my chicken collection, though it hasn't stopped me, more to come. Now I have something to do. Well more to do.

No one here will make fun of your collection...we'll just all ooh and ahh over it, lol. Looking through this thread, it's amazing how much chicken décor there is and we've rarely (if ever?) seen the same thing twice.

have you ever looked at their photos and tried to figure out how anyone real could live in those sterile "staged" scenes?



Mine too, but my cat and chickens don't care..LOL.

Maybe we should start a magazine ( or just a thread) of " Real People Homes and Interiors"

Maybe call the mag or thread "Shabby Chicken Decor" I'd fit right in.

I sometimes do feed my hens cooked eggs, hope they don't see this one, 'cause I don't want them to expect me to fry them.

He was a splurge item, I like chickens and anything made of metal, I wouldn't been able to sleep at night if I left without him.

Good for you. I cannot count the number of times I have found great stuff and talked myself out of it. And had to go back another day to get it --- sometimes quite a long trip too

probably right  - she's had many chickens over 25 yrs.  but, ALL house chickens.  She is always cooking something for them and the dog.. She's 77 ( 9 yrs. older than I am)  does all her own gutter cleaning, yard work, painting, big , beautiful garden  - more and more  chicken figures outside. She is quite a character.

I love spunky old ladies, hope I can hold together long enough, but it sounds like she already has me beat.
