I didn't realize you painted it You really do have a lot of talent. Do you still paint or draw?
The dollar store duo have such great colors, another nice find.

occasionally I get a bit melancholy and pull out my paints, I have dabbled in water colors over the past few year, and an occasional drawing. This is not chicken related but still hokey. I'm sharing my carvings on my forum for decorative items not chicken related.

I don't know why you call them hokey, I really like them maybe I should go look up what hokey means. If I get melancholy I have to pull out house paint. I have no talent for painting other than painting the outside and inside of the house.

Hokey hermit art, I suppose I don't think they are art gallery worthy, just all over my walls worthy, most of my wall art is self made.

I found a chicken rug I haven't used yet, it's next in line to be mangled.

Hokey hermit art, I suppose I don't think they are art gallery worthy, just all over my walls worthy, most of my wall art is self made.

I found a chicken rug I haven't used yet, it's next in line to be mangled.

Went on a junkin' trip today to a local Antique Mall and snagged these guys:


I love this rooster, not a real deal but was 20% off on a Halloween sale. He's got my colors!! Brite and cheerful. I know it is somewhat vintage, came with spider webs under and bird poops on top.


Ironic, but this was in my girlfriend's booth $5 - could have called her and got it for free, but she deserves a profit on the booth rental.
