Let's share our chicken decor!

Pics
I had to go through one before finding this one but thankfully my search ended there. Sometimes we have to pull alot of weeds before the special flowers show their faces.

You are one smart cookie!

I don't care if you can't spell Miss Lydia, I just like seeing you around

I get the red underline on misspelled words. If I'm feeling energetic, I'll try a couple of guesses but usually, I just change the word too. The other day I was trying to type "knowledgeable" and it just wasn't coming out right, had to change it to "know it all". Almost the same, right, lol?

Yep, know exactly what you mean. You can fool the spell checker by Capitalizing the word and just leave it misspelled..

Hey guys this pillow is $12.99 on Zulily. They are having an event called Farmhouse Finds. They have some really cute chicken stuff. I have ordered from Zulily before, It usually takes about two to three weeks for them to ship. Just thought you guys might want to check it out.
I've never heard of zulilly, looks like my kind of place!

That was fun yesterday (the baby shower I mean). We'll just have to remember to keep an eye on those ducks next time!

Gotta go get the girls up and going. See you all later, have a great day!

:lau   I don't know what was in the punch, the duck's made it.

The hen purse is cute & I do use it to keep supplies easy to find for potential chicken injuries as well as nail clippers.  It's somewhat difficult to really use - the zipper opening is quite small.

@drumstick diva
 - good idea about making potholder cases for those sharp things in the kitchen.
Yes the baby shower was so fun ladies! Thank you for making me feel so special and celebrating this little life with me! It's so fun to have friends who have common interests! I had a blast!

Years ago, a friend with decorating and art experience helped me with redoing some rooms in my house. I will never forget her first visit to plan the project…told me to get rid of all my chicken "clutter" in the kitchen. Removed it all to boxes and moved it out. And over time…..I started moving it ALL back in

. But 2 metal wall hanging roosters were damaged in the box - and those were my Mom's and I loved them, but too much injury to use, so gave them away. Have always regretted the loss. The irony is when all was finished, she commented on how my wooden chickens and the metal roosters would be perfect in the newly done decor..

Found some that look almost like those lost, just not quite as friendly in appearance. But same size and colors. Ordered these last night and supposed to get them this Saturday.

Here's pic:

The moral of my rant: If you love your "clutter", don't get decorating opinions from a minimalistic, non-sentimental decorator!

I like the new roosters you're getting @sunflour . Are they made of metal like your old ones?

I like my personal mementos and "clutter", most everything has a story behind it or a good memory. I'm sorry you don't have your mom's roosters anymore but I do like the new ones
