Have not done chicken-themed ones. But would like to do one with embroidered chicken foot tracks on it Find Chicken cotton prints and do the foot prints all over would be interesting.

I have seen similar roosters at Tuesday Morning stores. Theirs basically have a "clanger" not a bell and I believe are smaller than the one pictured. They usually start marking down the garden items about now. If you have one near you - check it out. Sometimes they even get to 70% off though by then choices are limited.

I believe even Kohls department stores carry something like that. I am a serial browser in stores, always hunting out new items, rarely have the $$$ to buy any.

I thought I was a serial browser too, but I think you have me beat!

Good one! Ioved that comercial.. & all the old show's.. I get hooked on watching laura Engels .. But then a update from BYC appears on my phones & time with the flock,

. well & spending weekends on BYC..

I used to savor my Tootsie roll pops- only biting them when the tootsie part started to reveal itself. The chocolate colored ones were my favorites.

For a short time I had a severe addiction to them. A friend's mom worked for them and brought home big boxes of them. I lost my mind, ruined my teeth(for sure) and even made the roof of my mouth sore. Thinking it was something terminal - I quit cold turkey. But still think of them lovingly. Just not for me anymore.

Thanks! I loved that commercial too. When @sunflour mentioned she tended to crunch hard candy, it make me think of Mr. Owl.
