Is there a breed of goats that has hair growing backwards over their withers? I'm trying to figure out if or what my baby goat is mixed with. I was told Nigerian Dwarf. This is the photo from the listing, he is with his momma here.

I too thought maybe it was from his mom licking, but I've given him a good brushing and the hair is growing backward. It's sort of like a rosette on the Abyssinian breed of guinea pigs.

Those look like true blue eyes to me, not baby blues.

@moomoodiddy Yes, his eyes will stay blue. Both of his parents had blue eyes but Charley could still carry the brown eye gene because blue eyes are dominant in goats.

My nanny's sire had blues so I am hoping to find a blue eyed billy for her, maybe polled too since she is not and flashy colored. Not wanting to push my luck though

Nice looking kid. I used to own a couple blue eyed nigerians. Its more common than people think in that breed.
