My dogs are overweight now that they're older. They just don't have the get up and go that they once did (I can relate!). Hattie is just slightly overweight. Charlotte, on the other hand, is a chunker!

Hattie is quite old at 14. She has a blood disorder and chronic pancreatitis. She's on a prescription diet. She still loves walks, but she tickets out quickly.

Charlotte is 9, but her paw was broken when she was a pup, and it never healed properly. Long walks aggravate it, and we usually end up having to carry her home. Keeping her weight down is a constant battle.
 
She's also just always been an easy keeper. She's lost a bit of weight since we started trying to make her lose the extra, but we just can't cut down much more at all.

That's how she's always been. She loves to go on walks with dad, but she has just been come more and more tired faster the older she gets.
