HI all! We're back for round two of Are We Gals Or Dudes?

These ladies (:fl) are about 10 weeks old. Barred Rock and Rhode Island Red. Here are the best pics I could get of them this morning.

Nooooooo. :hit
I take it you can't have roosters. sorry for bearing bad news the good thing is as long as dealt with properly they are one of the nice roos to have and makes easier to keep on him about not being aggressive towards the hens or humans when teenage hormones kick in and make em stupid

Give it another week or so. I have a couple RIRs here, one of which when they started feathering out good and developing their combs, had me really confused. The front half looked cockerel, back half looked pulletish. She turned out to be a pullet. Had that same tail pattern as yours too. Shape and color

Yep...no roosters allowed in my city. He'd have to go. I have no idea where, but he'd have to go.

I sure hope you're right, jeepgirl13. You think just a week or two might do the trick?
Well, there is no "trick", (beyond the one this chicken is playing on us), if hes a boy, hes a boy. Lol. :D That said, I do think waiting a week or two to see if s/he begins to develop pointy feathers that drape around his/her tail then well know for sure. Right now I'm only seeing rounded feathers back there.
