So an update:
After losing two chicks in two days ( we are down to four) we decided to move them into a brooder. I still dont have a good brroding space in the stable so they are in the garage room.

My wife says poults stink than chicken chicks.

I was hoping mom would do better, maybe if we had 10-12 the losses would be ok but given we lost 1/3 in two days we felt it best.
