Letting my chickens Free Range for the first time! With Pics!!

I've opened up the door to the yard once before, let them out for 5 minutes, and then shooed them back in, but yesterday i let them out the whole day. They LOVED it! We were down working on expanding the area of the yard, so i thought it was ok because i was there to watch them. i worry of stray dogs coming in and getting one of them. Some went a little to far for comfort, but i know they enjoyed it and i was a bit over worried. Anyway, here are some pics. their fav places were by the green area along the outside of the coop and by the hay stack.

That's great! I know how you feel about stray dogs etc. I work overnight and I only let them in the run until I wake up at about 4PM. Then I let them into the yard for a few hours. I'm too worried to let them out without me being there in case something happens. Nice chickens!
