Level of Safe Lighting

Hello! First time posting and raising chickens! Having a great time with it so far. ......I purchased a crystal clear 50 led light solar string light set to accomplish this. When I check on them at night it appears to give off the amount of light comparable to a night with a full moon and clear sky. Will this be too much light and create issues for them? .....

It won't cause big problems but neither will this setup provide enough light to encourage egg laying.

I recommend this one. Been frequently used over the past 5 years or so and has held up beautifully. Came with a rubber headband as well as an elastic one. Tilts, green light and a couple of white light modes. :thumbsup

I found a really nice tiltable LED headlamp a few years back that also switches from different levels of white light as well as a green one, which supposedly helps save your night vision. The birds don't seem to rouse with the green light unless I speak, which seems to wake them instantly. I'll find the package and post in a bit. I don't remember what I paid, but remember it was reasonable on Amazon.
Tilt is a must for me with multifocal glasses, even then SMH. I have a 25 yo tilting headlight frame, that I have refurbished bands and clipped on newer lights(think I'm on my 3rd). I don't see a model number on your pics @NorthTexasWink ?

Best I can do for identification. I bought it some years ago.

I always left the lights on in my coops 24/7 because i often went out at night to check for predators. Only lost about two hens over 7 years to egg binding. Sometimes the light was in the coop and sometimes in the run. The birds always had the option to sleep in either the coop or the runs unless it was exceptionally cold. Then i would lock them in the coop for the night.
