I’m in Virginia but willing to deal with shipping or even pickup depending where you are! I’m happy to buy from a hatchery or breeder but if anyone breeds australorps I’d love to support within the community :)

Hello and welcome to BYC.

I've breeding Blue Australorps and I'll be 100% upfront that my birds are hatchery stock -- very good layer, hardy and well-adapted to the hot and steamy climate of the US Southeast and within shouting distance of the breed SOP, but not show quality.

My January hatch pullets are accounted for, but I have two Blue Australorp hens, two Australorp Cross hens, and a Black Australorp cockerel (October hatch), currently available.

I also have Blue and Black cockerels from the January hatch and I'm taking babies out of the incubator right now with more to come at Easter. :)

That’s perfect, I’m just looking for pet quality/utility quality, and already suited to the summer weather is amazing as well. I dont know the timeline I’ll be ready to purchase but it’s lovely to know you’ve got some! Also while I stated started pullets, I’m perfectly fine with any age laying hens as long as they’ve got a few years left :)

Contact me when you're ready. I'll be hatching chicks throughout the spring/early summer and will cycle out 2yo hens in the fall.
