LG 9200?

I think a lot of it depends on where you have the hygrometer in the still air bator. I was just warming up one of mine, and had the hygrometer in the middle, the humidity was 65%. I moved the hygrometer to the side, and it is now at 50%. The air just kind of sits there, so it is hard to guess where it is accurate. It can be done, as I have duck eggs in one bator, and the humidity is a stable 70%. I have to use at least 2 wet sponges, along with the paper towel wicks and full water wells.

I added a wet sponge and it is starting to go up. I have a relative that has a fan for a 9200. I may see if I can borrow it for the rest of the incubation period. Does it hurt anything to use a fan after 5 days without one?

No it won't hurt anything.

Once you hit day 18 fill it with water and your sponges to bring up your
humidity and DON'T OPEN THE BATOR!!! It's hard but opening a styro
bator during a hatch messes things up BAD. Trust me. I've ruined
many a hatch.

Also, you might want to cover the eggs with a warm towel or something while you install the fan. It will take you more than just a couple of minutes to install.

I may just see if I can use the whole lid rather than just the fan. That way I can just swap them out in very little time.
