LG still air, 8 TURKEY eggs; day 2 of incubation.

Temps holding steady. Put in both plugs ( manual says only one) to get temps to 99-100 on the top.

Should I increase the temperature to 101-102 on top of the eggs? THe temperature on the mesh seems too low.

95 on the mesh the eggs lay on,
99-100 on top of the egg.

Just spoke to a woman at Miller manufacturing that makes the LG--the 800 number is on the manual !

SHe suggested cut styrofoam cups to be half the height of the eggs and set thermometer on the cups; I cut a half-circle on opposite sides of the cups to keep round thermometer in place. Temp should be 99-100 degrees. Also turkey eggs are thick shelled and need plenty of humidity: set up cups with sponges.

Red plugs are to manage humidity; the tiny holes top and bottom are adequate ventilation.

LG thermometer now limited to sit only on top of the eggs. IT's attached to a square of plastic and won't fit elsewhere.

Woman I talked to was very nice; with loads of experience herself --gotta ask for her though; phone people are reps only without actual experience (IMO--asked 2 and no experience using LG).
