LG incubator humidity question

I finally found a method that works for me. I put the incubator in my closet on a shelf (I have a whole set up in there) I keep the wells filled to the top, and have both of the red things in and I have been running 50%-60% all the time. I will try the cloth thing for lockdown day

I have used a home made styrofoam incubator to hatch chickens and pheasants, and this year I bought an LG still air from a friend to try. I did a dry hatch. I only added water when the humidity went below 25%. I added water on day 14 and again on day 16. Only added one or two teaspoons and the humidity would go up to 30-31 and after a few days go down to 25. On day 19 I took paper towels and soaked them in a glass, didn't wring them out, then put them in the water channels in the bator. Right now the humidity is 74% with one plug out, and I have 7 or 8 chicks hatched. You can see them here.......http://www.blogtv.com/people/alschickens
