They're the same breed, big majestic dogs... but my Storm can't resist winking at the camera. Her photos are remarkably goofy while my dad's dog is very elegant and photogenic.
I can truly call her my dog now, I've decided to take her with me when I move. Both her and my old girl Sadie. I still want to get a dog at some point, a breed I choose, and a young dog I can train well. But for now this is the best option.

And a handful malamutes aren't for the faint of heart
Storm is definitely better behaved though, I took her for a walk the other day and a mum and toddler wanted to say hi, Storm was soo gentle and sweet, let the kid pet her and then she sat there and looked at me waiting to continue our walk.
I never chose Storm, we were forced into a position where we had to rescue her. And then of course, couldn't rehome her because we loved her too much. But I'm so glad she came into my life.

She had her 6th birthday yesterday
I made her a dog safe fruit cake, with a side of plain yogurt as a special treat, she LOVED it. Don't worry, she only had a small slice, not the whole thing

Big dogs can be a handful, especially on walks! Some are good at it others not so much. Glad Storm has found a spot in your heart. ❤

Oh I bet she enjoyed a slice of this dog cake! Always fun to celebrate the dogs birthday, they sure do enjoy the attention.

That would be Bias Tape, you can find it with sewing supplies.

Bias tape is normally cotton? at least all the ones we have are. this is more like plastic webbing

There is such a thing as Polyurethane Binding Tape with is what you may have. You would have to order it on line as I believe it's more of an industrial material, I'm not sure.
