LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Excellent! I worked in a Deli for a year or so a while back. I enjoyed making and serving up sandwiches. 😁
I'd wanted to get out of food, but they seemed okay keeping me on low part time during the school year, and the pay starts out at 2 bucks more than I've made in 3 years at the school so I'm hoping it works

If it works for now, it's good enough!

Hi Jen :frow and welcome to the thread! Feel free to stop by anytime!! 🥰
That is very kind of you both, thank you!

I do have some bantams. They are just mixed breed pets (I say "just" like I don't love them, that is not true...) 😊.

At least there are some perks of working in food service! I totally understand wanting to get out of it, though. I worked in food service for 11 years. I'm glad it seems like they will work with your schedule and the pay sounds reasonable!

I'm in love with that rooster 😍
He's so beautiful!
I adore them, they are so beautiful!
Thank you! I overwintered them/brooded them in the house, so we are kind of bonded. She would lay eggs in the cat tree, haha.

Sonny (my sister said we should name them Sonny and Cher) really liked to get in on my partner's zoom calls, though, haha.

(Don't mind the unfinished house--we are working on it!)
