Forgot to update y'all on my interview yesterday. It went well! I'm very hopeful that I'll get the job.
The guy was happy when I stated that I'm available anytime and that if hired, I'd be more than willing to do any shifts that need people.
I think he also liked when I said that my favorite part of my previous jobs were the customers.

I also went into Wilco recently and had to make sure I didn't buy any of the $2 chicks
I was only there for feed and somehow managed to only get feed.

So the lavender orphingtons I hatched are getting bigger, trying t sort out who's who. So far 3, probably 4 of the 8 are boys , but only 2 are for sure are girls..... So I am not sure yet... I was hoping for 4-5 hens but I am doubtful. We shall see

I feel that... I hatched a dozen eggs from my Australorps and it looks like I'm only getting one female out of it--and insult to injury, since she's blue, she would have come from one of my two smaller hens instead of my big black girl who's laying much nicer eggs!
