LGD puppies in Katy.

Okay so Please get puppy food to feed their mom too..
Your girl needs nutrition feed dry puppy food in water just enough water to make it moist until her pups are weened

We were very unsure of it too but she was a well trusted breeder.
I would consider this solely an act to eliminate possible future competition at the cost of the animal's health.

Years ago here in Germany there has been a discussion among one of the breeders associations to exclusively sell puppies that have been spayed/neutered, to eliminate competition in this highly competitive business.
The usual age for the puppies to go to a new home being between 8-12 weeks.

Luckily, they did not get away with it.

My LGD's are still on LB puppy food. My vet says that this little foray into the real world won't hold her back.
She never was going to be a large dog. I'm alright with that. I could've walked away.
What I saw was a timid dog. Unsure of herself and her place. She's learned her worth.... her strength, but she's still learning herself. I'm pretty sure she knows her place. She knows home. But, i gotta say the GP in her does cause me some worry. At least until she's spayed! For REAL!😳

Well, It's interesting that Breeders from Denmark have been mentioned in my Teenagers' unplanned Pregnancy.
Meanwhile..... Down here in Texas..... how do you tell if a Girls in heat with no signs
Take her temp vaginally daily? Ain't gonna happen. She's shy or as in the Olden Days we called it Modest. You even touch her tail she sits... 🤔 (food for thought)
No blood, no stink, no swelling..... I'm getting her spayed early. 8 puppies later.... I can't afford the chance.

pretty sure the conversation digressed that it wasn't even talking about my Floozy bitch or her under aged Amour.....
Just sayin....
But, those that ARE following the thread might get a laugh outta' this.
My brother that lives next door has been complaining that every time he visits the puppies they pounce on him and never sit. Not so surprising considering their age.....
Then, I caught sight of him leaving the puppy pen...30'x100' with a container of CAT treats!!!!! Dummy.
Why would he want to set the puppies up to fail?
Maybe, I'm reading too much into it, but.....It explains a lot about how my most recent (within 10 years) dogs always mistreat him. Disturbing to think he's creating the scenarios he accuses them of enacting!
But, hey...... these days..... even Family ain't your friends.
Especially, in the case of these puppies!
I'd rather have no help at all! JS.

Most enjoyable day today. Almost all of the puppies sat on command. There's a PACK od puppies, so I WIN!
I still have yet to create an AD for them. i really should. I just signed on for a subscription delivery of puppy chow to the tune of $200/month. for now.
They're already showing to be excellent dogs, except for that one....Pretty sure he's the Brains behind every escape they've tried. My son told me the other day, after I'd warned him about taking 'shortcuts' thru the fence....That one.... You can see him thinking. one warning and my son caught on quick! :D Thankfully. No dogs out!
But, That's how smart they are. You watch what you do and how you do it, because they're watching, too! :lau
A lot more pressure now that they've become students. It's time that they go home.Their next step is to guard others.... except that one. I might have to keep him just to keep an eye on him! Cause, you never know about those strange ones.
Actually, I do. Every adopted dog here is a Reject. I think he's just far enough off to be considered Odd eventually as a pet. Likely, Odd out in the field as well. He tracks the ducks. Not for long, but enough to make them nervous. I suspect he may be moving them on purpose, but he's awful young to have picked that up. Probably watch in me. He's definitely worth watching. He's just a little more??? not forceful, but insistent on moving them. This could be a useful behavior for me in the future....Or an aggravation! Depends on the pasture and the stock.
oh.... I shouldn't keep nary a one! 🤣

I'd never heard about 'silent heat ', but it kinda makes sense.
The girl I picked up last year eats poop. All poop. Doesn't matter who or what it's from.
I think I might be the 2nd owner for that reason. So it makes perfect sense that she'd hide that as well.
Idk a helluva lot about LGDs. Nor, do I know much about pregnant, nursing dogs. I've always spayed/neutered . But, that isn't optimal for a large breed dog.
I do know that someone posted about a week before I started looking for advice and I knew I couldn't come here.
A few commenters were real, but there were a lot of 'Karens' ..no offense, but you know Who I mean.
I'm not posting to shame those folks. They have enough to carry.
I'm asking...laugh If you want...about Breast Cream.... LMAO! I know I needed it. is there a recommendation to help my girl?
If you want to rag me about unintended litters... please PM me.
The Real Deal is....This is our boat. Row like HELL.
I am so close to being overwhelmed, but I played a video of a clarinet and at 19 days old they howled!🤣
I'm so glad that I got to be a part of their lives.
And, no. I will not be spaying immediately.
We can discuss that later.
Breast care for nursing mom?
Hi Penny. I use common coconut oil (from any grocery) or EVOO (extra virgin olive oil.) Very soothing, exceptionally healing and, always available. Reasonably priced, also. What breed of dogs do you have?
