My rooster is just the best! He is gentle and friendly-his macho looks are all for the camera! He is in my avatar- as soon as I learn to post pictures I will post him with all of his girls.
He is a very handsome fellow!
I still miss my Edward that I had to give away this summer - he was a sweetie also. The person I gave him to just told me the other day that she had something break into her coop and kill a bunch of hens and ducks - happily Edward was one of the survivors!
I did it!! This is a picture of the girls last summer eating my Oxalis.
Roosters are sometimes touchy business- neighbors and all-
Liberace crows maybe 8 times a day and keeps all of his girls happy-
The neighbors are wonderful-I make sure I give them plenty of gratis eggs. When I brought eggs to one neighbor- she had tears in her eyes and told me she actually LOVED hearing the morning crowing-! She said it reminded her of when she was a little girl on her family's farm-
I am so blessed!
Here's my guy, Lt. Colonel Bok Bok. He's not nice and gentle, he doesn't like being touched at all. He's a good roo because he doesn't attack. Even though he's a lil poop head, I still love him.
