Lice!!!!!!!!!! HELP never had lice (what do I do)

I believe we have the common louse

. All the symptoms point to the common louse

and I don't know what to do. Please someone HELP!!!!!

Wash chickens, then treat with lice powder (you can usually get it from fairly common stores like Fleet Farm, Country Store, etc.)

Exactly. This is how I do mine:

To bath, have three tubs of water, with soapy water, vinegar water (white vinegar for light-colored birds, apple cider vinegar for dark-colored), and regular water. Dip bird in each and scrub using hands. Rinse in clear water, then dry and apply lice power, per directions.

I hope I will be able to use Poultry Protector instead because I did not see Lice powder at TSC.

Just go buy any common fly spray with permethrin in it and spray directly on the lice.

Matt1616 has a point, too. But, Poultry Protector will work.
