Lice/mites?

Hi everyone
So I have this hen that has got lice or mites Can anyone help me?

You can use a permethrin based poultry dust or spray to treat your hen and the rest of your flock. Clean out your coop (bedding/nesting boxes) and treat that as well.
Repeat the treatment and clean out in 7-10days.

Is your hen otherwise doing o.k.? Is she showing symptoms of lethargy or not feeling well?

Hi! I hope you don't mind me jumping in on the conversation. I have a hen that has a bottom covered in lice/mites (still not sure how to tell the difference, I'm pretty new to owning chickens). She has a pale comb and is acting a little lethargic. Do you have any recommendations for treatment? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, thanks! HI @Onkachonk I'm sorry to hear about your hen.

Treat your hen with a Permethrin based poultry spray or dust to kill the bugs on her.
Clean out your coop and treat that too. Repeat all treatments in 7 day intervals to kill off eggs/nits.

Since your hen is lethargic the infestation may be quite severe so treat her as soon as you can. Try to keep her hydrated, offer her some poultry vitamins and entice her to eat something after she is drinking. She would benefit from extra protein-beef liver, eggs or tuna would be good.

It's probably best to inspect your whole flock and treat them too.
