Lice? Molting?

So our RIR looks like hell. Honestly all of our chickens are looking a little rough but she’s by far the worst. She was picking and eating the other pullet’s feathers so we added some protein feed and that seemed to help.

She’s only 8 months. Is she molting? Is it lice? We’ve put DE on the girls a few times and we keep everything really clean.

Any help is so appreciated!

Looks like a molt to me, just watch her to make sure it isn't something else.

So we mixed in the protein (meat bird feed) to the layer feed we had been using before. I don't ever keep the bags, they go right into the feed container.

I want to say that this is the meat bird feed we added in.

is the layer crumble we have been using.
