Lice or something else?

Found a few of these on my geese relatively recently. Are they lice or something else? Here are the photos of one of them:

I'm going to say yes, lice.

Feather lice, they eat... feathers and dead skin but can cause quite a bit of irritation. Flea powder sorts them and swimming water keeps them away
