So I’m going to treat my flock with Martins Permethrin 10 % for a lice outbreak. I need some advice on how much to treat each bird with. This is my first time using this. I am at my wits end and desperate! I had tried poultry dust, diatomaceous earth, avc, herbs, sevin dust. I don’t know what else to try! I get the outbreak under control but then it happens again.
I empty the coop, take out all the bedding, sanitize the roosts, nesting boxes, spray the coop down with vinegar, sprinkle the edges, roosts etc with poultry dust. Add DE to the feed, nesting boxes. I have researched books, google, Pinterest.
I have 1 month old chicks up to 2 year old chickens I need to treat with the Pymethryn.

Mixing instructions should be in the inside of the label.

Ratio for coop will be different than ratio for birds.

Once you have it mixed properly, you will need to treat once every 7 days until all signs of lice are gone.
