Lice???

Hello all, I was holding one of my girls when all of sudden I had many tiny bugs crawling all over my arms, can anyone tell me if it might be lice? I have a snap lock plastic chicken coop I have never had this problem what should I do?

Treat everyone and everything with permethrine poultry dust or spray. Clean out the coop, apply then new bedding. Treat the birds thoroughly.

also I have my old gal the one I was holding she is 8 yrs old the rest are between 7 and 10 months old is this safe for her?

Doesn't matter, really. I think Martin's is the most common brand. It's easier to get it yourself than order it, especially from Amazon

It's fine. The lice/mites are a bigger concern

Make sure to get it again the skin. It's easier to fill a sock and bop them.
