I have the opportunity to get a few eggs for these guys, but I wanted to know a bit more first. I have heard they are friendly to people, but also read about them being rather aggressive to other birds especially the hens?

I mostly have larger friendly breeds like Cochins and Faverolles. I have read that chickens that will back down are better suited to mixing with them, but some first hand experience would be wonderful if anyone has it.

I'm going to bumb your post.
I'm headed toward a more gentle & docile flock myself but I'd love to know the answer to this.
It's a shame there isn't a mixed flock chart that tells us all which breeds tolerate each other best. 🤔

Well the problem with these rare breeds is if someone buys them it is most likely for a breeding project. Not many are going to raise these alongside more common chickens especially as adults.

There is a decent chance no one has the info we are looking for, but I figured I would ask anyway. From what I gather from older posts and by talking to owners on youtuber they can be peaceful, but don't take to being pushed around well. Still yet to speak with anyone who keeps them alongside standard breeds though.

My experience is not extensive but for what it's worth here it is.
I purchased 4 LF chicks last year, one cockerel, three pullets.
They were all raised in a mixed flock of large breed same age chicks.
The cockerel was beautiful and had the personality of a sweet puppy. He followed me wherever I went.
So, long story short.
The other cockerels were not nice to him, especially the Brahma. They tormented him relentlessly and he never fought back. I had to isolate the LF in a separate pen to keep him from getting killed.
I wound up re-homing him to a man who keeps chickens for pets and he is doing well with his flock.
The (now hens) are housed with the mixed flock and are doing well.
They are very people friendly and curious.
I am having more pens built as I write.
The breeds will be kept separate as soon as this is done.
