Ok, now I'm blushing....

Guess what.....my little dog is in labor! We will see what the night holds. I think....she's due...well actually in about 2 days was the due date, but she's tiny, and her little self is full up! So, it may be early, she's certainly exhibiting the symptons.

Oh, Mrs. Ozark Hen....DH thought your pigs were cute...he specified...your, and said, " hmmm maybe when pigs fly."
Now that wasn't very nice of him was it? Been thinking on how I can wrangle him into this idea of piglets...

He's getting wise to my subtle ways, not as easy to trick...I mean talk him into things.

Please let us know about the puppies when they are born. Also post pics, what kind are they?
I wish these pigs had been handled as I would go tie some wings on their backs and then let's see what your hubby would say???

If there is anyone out there who can take my pics and put wings on them and repost them here that would be hysterical!! If anyone can you certainly have my permission!!!

No puppies yet. Sort of a false alarm....I mean, she's due, she's restless, she is 'leaking', and but no 'labor pains'. So, that means, anytime.....or anytime...... or anytime....

I didn't rest well last night, checked on her countless times...I want her to be ok. She is a little yorkie, just the prettiest little thing....her name is Grace...aka baby Grace...aka..Gracie.
I'll take her pic later on today. Just wanted to let you how the nursery ward is going here.

Rainy here, I can't even go out and walk. I love to walk, it is relaxing, a stress reliever, and I just love to be outdoors! Plus, I'm trying to keep myself in clothes currently hanging in my closet...

It's a sure sign you had a long winter, when you put on your summer clothes, and it fits "differently"! Anyone know what I mean? I've grown up, and now working on growing out! That is not pleasant to notice about oneself... my husband always teases me, "Dynamite comes in small packages"!

He's a foot taller than I, (weighs more than I, too), hmmm better change the topic...he might read this post.

I'm not complaining about the rain, so far no severe weather, just a lovely Spring rain shower. Balmy, about 67*, cloudy, and the drip drip of rain drops....I'm going to clean out the sunroom today...it has a tin roof!! (Don't call, I may take a nap in there! uhmmm love the sound!)

shoot, I need to run to the bootheel area with a friend, she is going to a visitation and doesn't want to go alone...I am staying in the car and crocheting. I will try to photo shop that pig flying pic asap but doubt it will today unless I can't sleep tonight and try it.

Hello,
Am posting pictures of the little momma today, just took them...was wanting her to turn sideways so you could notice her tummy...she didn't want to co-operate!

Anyway...she's a little dear heart...seems to be a little more restless today. She's not actually "due" on the 64 day count till Monday, the 19th....but, she's showing all the signs...without labor pains....who knows!

My husband and son are visiting some church members in the hospital today, they are quite a pair! Son, was thrilled...he told me "me & dad are going to donalds"....this is McDonalds.

Today went to the river, checking the picnic site for our church picnic on Saturday. It is beautiful, though they tell you to watch for nesting alligators...

Came home to a scent...a very distinct scent...a stench!
Day 19 on my eggs, and we had a rotten egg! Bad....
BYC folks told me how to check...

and I encountered the egg in no time. I do have a hint for anyone who may need to smell their eggs....wait till the scent clears off all the eggs, they all smell rotten at first!

I'm still ill, called the Rev. he came to help me (wasn't real excited to participate in this part of chicken raising!

)....I threw up, still gagging...the egg did not break but...Oh, the smell!

Gracie is still holding steady! Though her tummy is tight today, really tight, a distinct difference in the feel. This too is a sign, of what? pregnancy. What a surprise...do I sound sarcastic? Sorry, she's miserable, I'm miserable...ugh.
Going to go lay down, I'm still rolling...what a baby I'm being!

I won't be back on till Monday, unless we have puppies... :|
Tonight is prayer meeting, and It's Angel food distribution, followed by church picnic Sat., and then....Sunday...soooo

Parsonswife, she's just adorable!!

But, please, for me, if she continues to leak but not go anywhere with it, like today, please take her to the vet. I won't tell you any horror stories, and things are probably fine with your darling Grace, but I have had a bad experience with a little girl in her position.

I hope you have puppies which look just like her; soon!
