After losing our first flock I wasn't sure I'd get over it, but here we are a few months later. This new crew keeps us laughing, and while we are still working to make them more tame everything is going well. We got our first eggs today. I'm so excited and blessed by LORD JESUS for new life after such a tragedy! I thought I'd start a thread for our flock! Our new chicks will get to come home in 11 days with the Mama! We have already named the chicks salt and pepper! And I think we are going to call the Hen Mama Henny

And yes I know I have an imposter roo! The big rooster is the one I had originally picked out..the breeder told me the little rooster was a hen..I told her I thought it was a rooster...he hasn't crowed, but I'm about 99 percent sure he is a roo..we will see how things go if he can stay or not. Right now he is doing well.
