Lifeless chicken but still breathing Help

I have a 2yr old lifeless chicken , but still breathing. Can not hold up her head or hold her own weight . She was fine yesterday . Is there anything I can do . Please help she is my daughter’s favourite. Thank you

Sorry about your chicken. Can you get her drinking sips of sugar water (1 tsp per 8 ounce cup) or electrolytes? Will she eat some soft cooked egg or mushy wet chicken feed if you offer it up to her beak? Do you think that she is dehydrated from not being mobile to get water, or could she be low in the pecking order and kept from drinking and eating? Have you added any new birds to the flock recently. Has she been laying eggs? How does her crop feel—empty, full, squishy or firm? Is it extremely hot there?
