I am so proud of you!! I know you didn't want to "burdon" your family with this issue, but I glad you told them and they have stepped up like I thought they would. Those little girls are probably having the time of their life taking care of you!!

Enjoy it while you can my friend, they grow up oh so quickly.

Got out today, when to my other son's house. The one with the two grandsons. 4 yr and 2 yr. The grandson is the one crazy about the birds, had him hatch many eggs those last 3 days.

I got there he ask if I was going to stay there now.(they had visit me at my other son's house) Funny I told him I couldn't as I was hurt, he told me he wouldn't let Tyler hurt me, his little brother.

Did get to see my young peachicks at the house.

I would like to thank all my BYC fine friends, I should have time to keep up on the forum....will be taking off works for months if not years. So many of you have been pulling for me. You will never know how much that means to me.....

Great to hear that you got out and about. Also that your 4yo grandson loves the hobby already and you got to see his chicks.
Awesome that you have so many close family members to help you through this.

State of mind can be so powerful for healing.

I'm so glad some of your young peacocks are still in the family & you can keep up with them. Sounds like your grandsons will be carrying on the pea tradition!

It's good that you were able to get out; keeping your candle lit for your recovery. I'm still so new to peacocks & have learned so much from you; I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us.

Still have to get pics of "the boys" to post - they are enjoying their life here & growing in leaps & bounds, more beautiful every day! To think I started out wanting "just a pair" - and now up to six!

So glad you are in the care of your family now, deerman!
Sounds like you are blessed with wonderful, loving children and grandchildren and they are blessed with a wonderful, loving father and grandfather.
I'll keep praying for you!

You paint a tulip red with joy.
You say the psalm, I shall not fear.
Somehow, knowing what you do know,
still you tremble out and in
High up in your room
Memories come.
You cannot still your limbs.
Somehow, knowing what you do know
still you tremble out and in.

You see how I go to pieces,
that I'm laying on the ground
like the sky is so heavy
when I could be
Brave. Like You

But I always go to pieces.
And I have it in my mind
that the sky is tall and heavy,
when I could be brave, brave
Like you

You go outside. You see the Holy Spirit
burning in your trees
and walk on, glowing with the same glow.
Still you tremble out and in.

And the birds of all your yellow teacups sing,
and you know this hymn.
Somehow, knowing what you know
still you tremble out and in

Oh I know it, I know it, here is God beside.
I meant it. I meant I'm sure of that.
But the sky is tall and heavy,
when I could be brave,
Brave.
