Light Brahma back feathers messed up!

So my old rooster ( gone now ) tore up all of my hens backs from mating with them. I can’t remember if this hen got her back tore up, but I think she did. Also the feathers on her feet are doing the same thing. Anyway, her back is covered in little feather nubs, and I was wondering if it is new growth or mites eating away her feathers. I don’t think it’s mites because I sprinkle DE everywhere every 2 weeks.

They appear to be pin or 'blood' feathers which are the normal way feathers are replaced during molting.
