Update on my chicks, both getting very red faces ! Both standing really tall, sure one is making a deep roo-ish noise , stressing they may be both Roos . Will get some photos tomorrow think the names Max and Hiccup were appropriate (
Seems like most of my younger chickens are getting redder in the face but I know most of those are pullets by comb size and coloration of feathers! My Cornish are pretty easy to tell by color as well as my Faverolles.
Hello, well max and hiccup are now 7 months old, they have grown so much. Hiccup squatted today when I went to stroke her, could this be a sign she is a she, and about to lay me an egg ?. Max is not squatting and as he/she is larger I'm thinking a may have a roo, although no roo like noises yet. I will try to put some photos up of them, any suggestion, comments welcomed. Thank you.
