Light brahma cockerel, right?

Here he is again, when do Brahmas mature, because obviously a crow or an egg are the only ways to be sure. So I was wondering when to listen for a crow. My Leghorn started at 8 weeks, Wich isn't to far off, but I understand that isn't the norm.

Brahmas are TOUGH. If the comb is actually red and not just defined it's likely a cockerel. This breed is slow to mature and I wasn't confident until 8-10 weeks I believe. Kind of interesting, these pictures are of a Buff Laced Brahma and a Light Brahma at 5 weeks and 4 days (as close to six weeks as I could get!) I would have sworn the Buff Laced was a cockerel and Light a pullet. I left a couple days later for vacation for a week and when I came back, the Light was clearly a cockerel! Wild how they change. They've made me learn that it's color in the comb and feather patterns that are easiest to use, not necessarily comb shape and size (triple rows were FREQUENT in my pullets, more so than my cockerels 😳.) I haven't seen any of my Brahmas crow and they're almost 15 weeks, but that can vary bird to bird. I am thinking yours is a cockerel if it has a red comb like you said, sometimes cameras don't pick up on color accurately. Definitely update in a couple weeks! Brahmas are better to sex a bit later.
