For the hens, are they blue all over and splash all over?

Or do they look just like the Light Brahma except for having blue or splash where the Light Brahma has black?

Or do they have some other pattern?

In that case, the blue hens should produce a 50/50 mix of black chicks and blue chicks. The splash hens should produce just blue chicks.

As they grow up, the chicks may show some leakage of other colors (white or gold or red) in various places, rather than being entirely blue or splash.
