Light Brahma Roos - meek or wild?

Yep, and it will soon be remedied. :| I sure wish I knew how to vent-sex the chicks. I was supposed to get 4 pullets from the hatchery, and when I went to pick them up I decided to take one of the roos that they had in a separate pen. Little did I know that my sweet little Emily would be that "roo". I handled them all a LOT as babies, though not so much anymore because I'm tired of getting pecked. There's one roo that Emily seems to be attached to... I think that's the one I'm going to keep. I've put ads out for the other 3, but no one seems to want them. They are beautiful big birds, but I can't keep them all.

Shhhh... there's a couple of recipes I've been wanting to try...

I just received a few light brahmas from my father-in-law and hope they won't be like his. His pecked my daughter twice and actually went toe-to-toe with my husband! I think it is because they weren't used to our kids and the roo we have know(10 weeks old) the kids hold and it is very gentle. I hope he stays that way!
