He's fine, the hen was acting broody so she was growling which set him off.I suppose if it stops at growling then it's fine. I sure wouldn't want a bird that size who attacked people. Brahmas are huge!

That sounds like a good plan. Just see how things go-- watch for fighting among the males, and a bare back in the female. If these things become a problem, reassess the situation.I really, really do don’t want 15+ chickens. I think I am going to see how it goes and maybe get 3 pullets this spring to introduce in the mix. 6 is my max.
