Light bulb for candling

I made a homemade candling box with a hole at the top to view egg. Im using a 100w bulb on the inside of box is that wattage good or do i need a special type of bulb, or more wattage? It seems to work ok but im not seeing the type of vascualation as I see in the candling post here on this Forum???
