Ok so from what I have read chickens are blind at night so if something comes after them they can not see to defend themselves right? So I went and bought LED Tap Light for inside the coop. I figure know God forbid it happens they can protect themselves. It is just a dim light will it affect them in any bad ways?

Even the huge nasty chicken farms with 40,000 birds allow them darkness at night (all be it for 30 minutes)

Chickens need the darkness to chill out and sleep. If you're coop is secure you won't need the light. I can't see a small dim light causing them too much stress, just not sure that they need it.

Thanks Captain Carrot. I just worry alot. I try hard not to.

I just want everyone to always be safe. My hubby tells me to stop. Been this way for 45 yrs now. LOL. Will leave the light out. Thanks again.
