Light int he Coop

Just wondering, we keep a light in our coop during winter to have the 14 hours of light. Would it make any difference if we used LED bulbs? I wouldn't think it would but got to wondering.
 
I am not sure about bulb types but I wouldn't use flickering fluorescent ones to be sure since chickens have different vision than we do. LEDs may be OK.

I have read that you should be able to read a newspaper at chicken level.
