I've always installed lighting in my coop during the winter months to add to light hours for laying, but I'm thinking of installing some solar tube lights just because. Any one have full time lights inside their coop?

Full time, as in they come on at night since they are solar and of course shut off during the daylight or once the charge wears down. I've never had an issue during the winter months that I've had lights in the coop in the past, but wasn't sure if I should install them or not.Full time as in they're permanently installed, or left on 24/7? Permanently installed sounds great, I sure could use better lights in the coop on gloomy mornings.
Chickens do best with darkness at night, just as humans do. Otherwise they'll be up and eating at all hours, it could mess with molts, etc.
