Light on in coop?

We have a mink or a weasel lost 4girls. Would a light on temporarily help deter killers? We are working on security and trapping now.

1/2" x 1/2" hardware cloth everywhere on coop is the only thing that will keep them out.

Absolutely right. really need to seal it up to keep mink and weasels out. They can get into very small openings and are very persistent.
